Yoga and Detox Day 1: Have a positive environment and get rid of toxic people

I hope the year is starting great for you as it was for me.

I am sharing my detox journey to lose weight for my upcoming wedding.

I am drinking a very healthy juice breakfast. I am having celery and spinachi and lovely greens. For lunch I had fish and chicken for protein. I also take a boosting powder for energy.

I'm sharing my full detox on my Patreon page, if you would like to join me, you can check out my Patreon page here http://www.patreon.com/marlingyoga.

In the beginning you will feel tired.

I do not want to lose weight too quickly after the pregnancy because as I would like to do it gradually to keep my skin and muscle firm.

Here are some things I am grateful.

I'm very grateful for having such amazing friends that lets me know when I cross some borders. Today I got to understand that and and I had no intention of doing, I just been so self-absorbed in my sleep deprivation and desperate that I did something that I regret strongly. I'm very grateful to my friends that instead of being upset they informed me of my shortcomings which I greatly appreciate.

I also got rid of toxic friends, as comparable to a detox you get rid of toxins in your body. It's important that we get rid of toxins in our lives; toxic energies, toxic people and toxic environments. I try to create a positive, loving environment with the people around me. It gives me apostive energy.

I'm also very grateful for my body, I am 41 and a half and I still have a six pack. I think the rest of the six-pack is going to come after the detox. I'm very grateful for the genetics and that I've been active throughout my life. I have taken care of my body even when I was abusing alcohol and drugs, I was training and dancing a lot and ensure that I slept for eight hours.

Our yoga today will focus on exercises that involves twists. It helps relieve our body from tensions and toxins. The twisting yoga exercises will be the focus for the coming 30 days. It will be good for the detox.

Breath of Fire yoga breathing exercise - we’re going to do that a little bit longer than we normally do, we're gonna do it for 250 breaths than 200 and then we're going to increase that a little bit throughout this detox. The Breath of Fire is fantastic for you. This will help you kick-start your metabolism and and cleanse your body from the inside and out.

Cat and cow yoga position- we're gonna come to all our fours, place your hands straight underneath your shoulders, underneath your feet (see video below). Do inhalation and exhalation. Come up and drag your belly button towards the spot.

Twist yoga exercise - go back to the Taylor's position, place your hands on your shoulders, we're going to do a twist. Inhale as you go to the side, look over your left shoulder, exhale come to the middle, inhale to come right and exhale to the middle.

Meditation - we're going to finish this class with a short meditation, close your eyes and focus on the area between your eyebrows, the third eye looking inwards, let your third eye lead you to the area around your heart . In this area, in a room where you're going to spend some time for yourself, there's nothing that has been and nothing that will come, it's only you in this very moment.

Place your palms together in front of your heart, then start.

Place your palms to your forehead, think good through the day, to your mouth, for you to speak the truth and to your heart, to follow your heart and be kind to yourself and other people.

Namaste!

Thank you so so much for today remember to go out there and give.

Note: If you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or have a medical condition, I would suggest consulting your physician first. What I am sharing here is what best fits me and I hope it goes well with you.
