Happy New Year of Yoga for 2023: Live today, Detox and lose weight...

It is the 1st of January 2023; how time flies…

I like to share my New year's resolution for 2023. I hope this inspires you as you reflect and plan for 2023.

  1. To keep myself genuine and to be always be within my core. It is easy to get lost when you get advices from people. Do not forget to go back to your core. When I worked for big brands, I became their brand that I lost myself. I do not want to do that in my channel. My Yoga channel helps me get back to my core. 

  2. To save money, that is one of the hardest thing for me. Sometimes I splurged to much to have fun and to enjoy life. But too much is not good. When I was in France, I don't have much money, but it's one of the best times of my life. It taught me how to budget and put my money into good use.

  3. Work on my fears. Since I became a mother, I started to have many fears, my life is no longer only for me but for Gemma and my family. I know I need to work through that. The car crash also shooked me, that incident awakens me of how fragile life is. It made me realized how every second should not be taken for granted. Do today what you can do now; tell the people that you love, that you love them. Do the things that you want, do it today, do not wait for tomorrow. Stop procrastinating.

How are you? was your 2022? 

For me, I have better numbers in 2021 than 2022 in YouTube. There will always be a competition, you will not always be the top channel about Yoga in YouTube. It is part of life. I learned to accept that to make myself better. 

The advice that I can give that I learned from Marling Yoga - Just go on. 

My Yoga channel is important for me because it helps me get back to my core. I started Marling Yoga because I lack discipline. It helps me get the habit of doing yoga everyday. Recording myself, uploading it and putting it out there, it helped me to keep going . Regardless of what version or state I am in, I will show up. Sometimes great, sometimes not.

Life is a gift, every morning that we wake-up healthy is such a miracle. Embrace that gift and enjoy life. Take life by its balls.

I am going to start a detox at the start of the year 2023.

In my own experience, including these three exercises in your Yoga routine is very helpful.

Starting Yoga with breathing helps with the release of stress by relaxing and increasing blood circulation throughout our bodies.

Breath of fire helps release toxins and chemicals to build a stronger immune system. Always include this in your Yoga routine.

Hip roll - helps loosen the lower back and hip muscles.

Body twist - stretch the muscles of the back
